Akhenatón, según Naguib Mahfuz

After having studied in a very rigorous way the little is known with respect to the life and reign of this controversial Pharaoh, Naguib Mahfuz delivers in this work his interpretation of the events that led to the failure and fall of the government of Akhenatón. Since until today there are different explanations, in his book he utilizes the literary resource of interviewing the characters that held the most important positions and the nearest in kin. Each one, from their scope, contributes with data which coincide with historically well documented facts or which are different and even sometimes contradictory but all significant to shape the version that the author considers most coherent and plausible.Después de haber estudiado en forma muy rigurosa lo poco que se sabe respecto a la vida y reinado de este controvertido faraón, Naguib Mahfuz entrega en esta obra su interpretación de los acontecimientos que llevaron al fracaso y a la caída del gobierno de Akhenatón. Puesto que hasta la fecha hay distintas explicaciones, en su libro utiliza el recurso literario de entrevistar a los personajes que desempeñaron los cargos más importantes y a los más cercanos. Cada uno, desde su ámbito, va aportando datos que coinciden con hechos documentados históricamente o son diferentes y a veces incluso contradictorios, pero todos significativos para configurar la versión que al autor le parece más coherente y plausible

Empoderamiento y auto (sanación) a través del acto performativo

Con una perspectiva más performativa, se pretende presentar y discutir un modelo de empoderamiento de identidad sexual dentro de la academia y del mundo artístico usando las prácticas artísticas como medio creativo para sanar. El 14 de febrero en la Academia de Música y Drama de la Universidad de Gotemburgo, Suecia, fue presentado como parte del curso ´Perspectives on Performativity and Feminist Artistic Practice´ el producto artístico: ´Healing through feminism performativity´. Como un acto de resistencia a las prácticas comunes, normas y estructuras de poder construidos y manifestados en la enseñanza y práctica de la música clásica occidental en los conservatorios y en las universidades, la intención de este producto artístico fue crear un espacio seguro para una acción performática. Con gesto poético, se identificó, se reaccionó y se compartió la realidad de la artista en un escenario en donde el evento de cura se generó desde el proceso creativo.Not Publishe

Sistema tradicional de manejo de caprinos II. Desempenho de caprinos SRD na fase de pós-aleitamento

The pattern of growth of SRD kids from an average of 153 days up to approximately 461 days of age was studied. Weights at the ages of 153 (W5), 181 (W6), 209 (W7), 237 (W8), 265 (W9), 293 (W10), 321 (W11), 349 (W12), 461 (W16) days and calculated weight gains (G) between every weight interval G5 = (W5 - Weaning weight) through G12 = (W12 - W 11) were evaluated. Data were initially recorded on 54 kids and diminished thereafter at every interval due to kid mortality. The least squares analysis of variance showed a significant season of birth effect (P 0.05) with the exception of type of birth for G12 (P 0,05), com exceção do tipo de nascimento para G12 (P < 0,025). As covariâncias de peso da mãe ao parto e idade do cabrito no momento da pesagem, foram significativas em algumas idades. Já para peso ao nascer, a covariável foi significativa para P7, P8, P10 (P < 0,005); P9 (P < 0,001); P6, P11 e G12 (P < 0,025).

Tecnologías que han sido desarrolladas en la última década como el desarrollo de marcadores moleculares, mapeo genético, selección genómica, secuenciamiento de próxima generación y sistemas de edición de ADN son discutidos. Se proveen ejemplos de algunos descubrimientos y logros.Developing countries have the challenge of achieving food security in a world context that is affected by climate change and global population growth. Molecular Genetics and genomics are proposed as technologies that will help to achieve sustainable food security. Technologies that have been developed in the last decade such as the development of genetic markers, genetic maps, genomic selection, next-generation sequencing, and DNA editing systems are discussed. Cytogenetic Mapping of 35 New Markers in the Alpaca (Vicugna pacos)

Maestría en Producción AnimalAlpaca is a camelid species of broad economic, biological and biomedical interest, and an essential part of the cultural and historical heritage of Peru. Recently, efforts have been made to improve knowledge of the alpaca genome, and its genetics and cytogenetics, to develop molecular tools for selection and breeding. Here, we report cytogenetic mapping of 35 new markers to 19 alpaca autosomes and the X chromosome. Twenty-eight markers represent alpaca SNPs, of which 17 are located inside or near protein-coding genes, two are in ncRNA genes and nine are intergenic. The remaining seven markers correspond to candidate genes for fiber characteristics (BMP4, COL1A2, GLI1, SFRP4), coat color (TYR) and development (CHD7, PAX7). The results take the tally of cytogenetically mapped markers in alpaca to 281, covering all 36 autosomes and the sex chromosomes. The new map assignments overall agree with human–camelid conserved synteny data, except for mapping BMP4 to VPA3, suggesting a hitherto unknown homology with HSA14. The findings validate, refine and correct the current alpaca assembly VicPac3.1 by anchoring unassigned sequence scaffolds, and ordering and orienting assigned scaffolds. Design of a Software System to Support Value Education in Sports Through Gamification Techniques

Nowadays, it is quite common to find violent acts in grassroot sports, such as football. Almost every week, it is possible to find news about team supporters fighting against each other, or football players arguing aggressively to the referee. And the worst part in this story is that most of these acts are watched by children. In order to alleviate this situation and create awareness of the necessity to create educational programs to prevent violence in sports, the European Union has funded several projects focused on this area. One of this project is called SAVEit project, and its goal is to create and develop innovative educational tools to promote values in grassroot sports. This paper presents the software architecture designed in SAVEit project to achieve this goal. This architecture is mainly composed of a Learning Management System, where coaches will learn about the values; a Team Management Site, where coaches can evaluate the values acquired by the children of the teams; and finally, a Video Game that using gamification techniques will keep the motivation of children during the learning process

¿La gramática escolar en cuestión? : La materia Construcción de Ciudadanía en las escuelas secundarias de la provincia de Buenos Aires

Este trabajo es resultado del procesamiento y análisis de una encuesta autoadministrada aplicada en el año 2009 a los docentes a cargo de la asignatura Construcción de la Ciudadanía. Incluyó un relevamiento con preguntas cerradas y abiertas que intentaba conocer el perfil de los docentes, las condiciones de implementación de la materia, la asistencia, la gradualidad, la evaluación y los aportes realizados por la asignatura a la dinámica institucional y a la educación secundaria obligatoria. Tiene por objetivo presentar algunas reflexiones que aporten al debate sobre las posibilidades de innovación curricular en las instituciones educativas. Al mismo tiempo que insinúa una tendencia, por parte de los docentes, a preservar la gramática escolar frente a los cambios que pretende orientar el Diseño Curricular de esta materia.Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educació
